Well...This was not such a great tournament for Alabama A&M. They really stunk up the course. They played in the Hall of Fame Black College Invitational Golf Tournament. I think they wound up beating one team. Chase had his best round on the last day of the tournament. I can't even remember what his score was for the practice round. His scores for the tournament were...80 and 77 for a total of 157. Oh well...you win some and lose some. Of course, the "Chase supporters" thought he did well. Grandmother, Chuck, Tres, and I had a great time.
They are hosting an AAMU Alumni Association Golf Tournament this week during their Homecoming. Chase can't play in the tournament because he has to actually work the tournament. Of course he has family and friends going to play in the tournament. That's what a good family and good friends do...they support you in all you do. Like the unconditional love of Jesus. The next tournament should be sometime in November in Savannah.
